Welcome to the College of Forestry Research Office.

Our office is a college-wide resource for faculty, staff and students engaged in research activities. We work closely with the Office of Sponsored Research and Award Administration (OSRAA) and the Forestry and Oceanic Business Center. Our areas of oversight include:

• Proposals from concept through submission to arrival of an award
• Cayuse SP, Oregon State’s online proposal system
• McIntire-Stennis portfolio management
• Research cooperatives
• Faculty development
• Internal Initiatives including the Institute for Working Forest Landscapes, Fish and Wildlife in Managed Forests and the TallWood Design Institute 

Proposal Support

We provide comprehensive support for external funding opportunities from early concept planning to submission of the proposal to the sponsor.

Our proposal support page contains the college budget template, budgeting guidelines, tools and sponsor specific guidance and templates.  

All external research funding must follow OSRAA processes and guidance and our office is here to assist you in navigating both institutional and sponsor guidelines.
