This option is available at Oregon State’s main campus in Corvallis. Students will learn to work with communities, nongovernmental organizations and governments around the world to plan and manage nature-based tourism opportunities. Sustainability is an important part of the curriculum. Students will also learn how recreation and our natural lands work together and what the benefits, tradeoffs and challenges are when it comes to tourism. Students will go on to work in advisory, policy or management roles for public agencies or private landowners or businesses.
