OSU students will travel to southern Patagonia, Chile to discover land management and recreation in the Andes. You'll experience beautifully diverse landscapes from luminous mountains to glacial blue rivers, and discuss the people, policies and practices that conserve them. Students will have many opportunities to immerse themselves in the vibrant and resilient culture of Chilean Patagonia!
Activities include rafting on the world-famous Rio Futaleufu, cultural immersion experiences, and hiking in protected areas between Coyhaique and hiking Chile’s first IUCN Green-list park, Cerro Castillo National Park.
