UBC offers a range of undergraduate courses and programs in disciplines like Forest Resources Management, Forest Sciences, and Forest Operations. 

Undergraduate degree programs offered by the Faculty of Forestry range from urban forestry, natural resources conservation, wood science, wood products processing, forestry, and forest sciences.

Graduate programs include a Master of Applied Science in Forestry, a Master of Forestry, a Master of Science in Forestry, a Master of Sustainable Forest Management, and a Master of International Forestry.

Deadlines and Requirements

Students must apply for this opportunity through OSU GO here on campus and be accepted before completing the University of British Columbia application. The OSU GO application deadline is March 1 for both Fall Term and Year-long applications.

Other program requirements:

  • Student in good academic standing
  • At least sophomore standing
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Satisfactory OSU Conduct Record
  • All applicants must successfully complete an interview demonstrating academic purpose and maturity.

Gilman-Education Award: Applicants must be eligible to apply for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program (eligibility requirements) and will apply through the main Gilman Scholarship application.
