The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences or Fachhochschule Salzburg is located in Kuchl, Austria, just south of the city of Salzburg. College of Forestry Wood Science & Engineering students can take undergraduate or graduate-level classes at a smaller university, with only 2,700 students, in programs such as Forest Products Technology & Timber Construction or Smart Building. There are sufficient courses taught in English for one term of exchange and intensive language courses in German if you have an interest in staying longer! Founded in 1995, this university focuses on preparing its students for careers in the current market with its qualified staff from both educational and industry backgrounds. The university is considered a pioneer of future-oriented programs in such areas as Tourism, Business Management, or Forest Products.
