Heather Rankin is an analytical environmental chemist with nearly two decades of experience in trace analyses, metals, and regulatory compliance. Her career has focused on protecting water, improving lab systems, and delivering high-quality, trustworthy data. Raised in Linn County, Oregon, Heather is a proud alumni of The Evergreen State College (go geoducks!) and excels at collaboration, mentoring teams, and tackling tough environmental challenges. When she’s not in the lab, you can find her spending time with family, exploring local waterways, traveling, or working with communities to make a tangible difference.
Heather will be working closely with current manager Kathy Motter until she transitions to retirement in June. Please be sure to give Heather a warm welcome when you see her around Oak Creek Building!
