Lorenzo Balducci is a forest ecologist currently doing a post-doc at Sapienza University of Rome, Department of Environmental Biology. He is visiting Oregon State University, College of Forestry, from September 10th until November 11th, 2025. His research focuses on assessing the direct and indirect effects of forest management strategies on the diversity of multiple taxonomic groups in European forests. He is collaborating with Prof. Matthew G. Betts and Gianluca R. Cerullo to upscale these results and gain a global perspective on the effects of forest management on biodiversity.
