Dhyogo is an architect and a visiting PhD candidate from the State University of Maringá (UEM), Brazil, with a professional focus on sustainable urban planning and construction. His research investigates innovative design methodologies for mass timber and engineered wood architecture. The goal of his work is to develop new approaches that can help overcome current barriers and promote the widespread adoption of wood as a major and sustainable option for construction in Brazil.
During his eight-month program, he is collaborating with Professor Mariapaola Riggio in the Department of Wood Science and Engineering at Oregon State University.
