Anaëlle Jacques is currently pursuing a PhD in philosophy at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France). Her research focuses on environmental ethics and politics, particularly on a critical analysis of the ongoing debates in environmental ethics between Native Americans and non-Native Americans in North America, both in the academic (philosophical) and in the political field. She will be a visiting scholar at Oregon State University College of Forestry from September to November 2025.
