Welcome, Alumni!

Welcome, Alumni!

Some kind of intro blurb (this is COB’s): “As a community of more than 40,000 OSU business alumni, we work together to accomplish great things. Whether it’s inspiring, mentoring, or hiring our students or supporting our college initiatives, we’ve always looked to the leadership and experience you offer.”

History

The first forestry class was taught at OSU in 1896 — just a few decades after Oregon achieved statehood. Ten years later, the first four-year degree was established. Over a century later, we are the No. 1 forestry program in the nation. Today, total enrollment tops 1,400 students representing 48 states and 33 countries and our research program secures more than $20 million in grants and generates 150 refereed publications annually.
