Field School

Field School is an intensive 2-week course that combines lecture, field laboratories and discussion periods, combining approximately 90 hours of instruction and assignments for two credits. It is only open to students entering junior year of forest engineering, forestry, forest engineering/civil engineering and senior year of wood innovation for sustainability. 

Generally, field activities are in the OSU McDonald-Dunn Research Forest for the first week and in eastside Oregon forests during the second week. Breakfast, lunch and transportation to and from the college are provided during the first week. Transportation, all meals and housing will be provided for the second week.
