Dean's Investment Fund
Message from the Dean
Now that the college has set our top priorities and strategic initiatives to advance them, I have earmarked investment funds to accelerate our progress. I look forward to supporting the great work of our faculty, staff and students to help achieve these goals, and am excited for our leadership team to initiate requests for proposals this quarter.
COF Strategic Priorities
A year-long process with input from across the college has focused the Dean’s vision into five priorities, with strategies to advance these priorities. See: Overview of Current Strategies. The process and timing for requests for proposals will be set by the Associate Dean or Director with program responsibility for the particular priority, and will be focused on targeting funds toward activities capable of delivering innovative, measurable outcomes.
Grant Application and Award Process Guidelines
Based on the Strategic Priorities, we’ve set up grant opportunities with different eligibility standards and processes for rating proposals and awarding funds. Pay close attention to these process guidelines in addition to particular requirements for each specific request for proposals:
Proposals are sought for projects that contribute to the College of Forestry's Strategic Priorities in Academic Excellence, Internationalization, Research, and Diversity.
This RFP is intended to be a conversation-starter. While the College leadership has developed RFPs to advance particular priorities, we would like to hear your best ideas for moving the College forward! So please, before submitting a proposal, discuss your ideas with one of the Program Administrators:
