2. Dendrology

contributions on western species from Ed Jensen, OSU)

print 1-page fact sheets (including color photos) on nearly 500
species of trees and shrubs (including most that we study in FOR
141/241). Also, view their class syllabus, a key to eastern trees,

of North America, Volumes 1 and 2. USDA Ag. Handbook 654.
Critical for completing your term project. Contains
detailed descriptions of the silvics (ecology and natural history)
of the principle forest trees of North America.
