No text book! An outline of what we cover each day is available by clicking on the "Calendar" link to the left and then clicking on the appropriate link next to the day. These class notes are done on PowerPoint slides and you can use those notes on any quiz or test.
You must use your ONID account. It's how you log in to
the computers and it provides you access to e-mail. CoF professors
expect that they will be able to use e-mail as one way to reach
you. The University provides you with an ONID student account.
ONID stands for OSU Network ID and includes 1 GB of disk space for data,
and an e-mail account @onid.orst.edu with 200 MB of space. An ONID account is required for access to
the OSU_Secure wireless network, Blackboard, and numerous campus computing labs. You can activate your ONID account and
get other ONID related information at:
http://onid.oregonstate.edu.
If you attend the lectures, you're welcome to one-on-one
assistance in the weekly help sessions. The instructor will
be available during the following times.
