New and current students who are admitted or
enrolled in the College of Forestry are eligible to apply for College of Forestry scholarships. Through the generosity
of our donors, the College awarded over $400,000 in undergraduate scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year with
individual awards ranging from $1,000 - $6,500. The average cumulative GPA of those students awarded was 3.54.
And while scholarships are generally based on academic performance, some are specific to need, degree program,
or other criteria set by our donors, so don’t hesitate to apply.
Applications for the 2009-10 College of Forestry Scholarships will be accepted beginning on November 17, 2008. It is important to read through the eligibility and instructions thoroughly before completing the Online Application Form. The scholarship application deadline is February 1, 2009.
Please note that in order to be considered for CoF Scholarships you MUST apply for admission to OSU by February 1, 2009. If you are going to be a new student (either direct from high school or a transfer from another college) to OSU for the 2009-10 academic year the College of Forestry Student Services Office MUST receive copies of your high school or previous college transcripts by February 1, 2009. We are unable to obtain copies for the OSU Admissions Office so you are asked to provide additional transcript copies to the CoF. Current OSU students do not need to provide copies of your transcripts.
Good Luck!
