Occurrence and productivity of Neotropical migrant birds as a function of intensive forest management. Objectives are: (1) to evaluate breeding songbird occupancy in relation to management intensity of early-seral conifer forests at stand and landscape scales; (2) to examine nest success and post-fledging habitat use as a function of vegetation structure resulting from intensive forest management practices; and (3) to examine whether food limitation influences nest success in intensively-managed stands.
