My interests lie at the interface of research and the application of molecular genetics and genomics tools. Such tools are useful for understanding and managing genetic resources in wildland populations, in applied breeding, and in genetic engineering. When used appropriately, these tools offer opportunities to both increase productivity as well as to conserve biodiversity.
